This website is the only place EBR-01 publishes the standard, the compliance register and its certification process. If you reached an EBR-01 page at any other web address, it was not published by us.
About the page at www.ebr-01.co.uk
The web address www.ebr-01.co.uk is not registered to us, is not operated by us, and its contents are not ours. It is published by businesses that are named on our non-compliant contractors register, and it sets out their view of this body. We do not control that page and we cannot amend or remove it.
Earlier versions of this website cited that address in its page code and in its notices, and told readers to use it. That was an error on our part: we did not hold the domain, and it was registered by a third party. We have corrected every reference on this site to point to sprayfoamstandards.co.uk, and we have removed the incorrect contact address. Mail sent to any address at that domain does not reach EBR-01.
We do not ask you to take our word for it. Check the address bar, check the contact address, and if you want to test anything published about us, write to us and ask.

What EBR-01 is, and what it is not
EBR-01 is a voluntary industry code of conduct. It is not a statutory body, a regulator, or a licensing scheme, and it is not approved or enforced by government.
EBR-01 does not carry out spray foam removal work and does not take deposits or payments for building work.
EBR-01 does not guarantee the performance of any contractor. Certification records compliance at the time of assessment.
EBR-01 does not provide legal, mortgage or valuation advice. Lenders and surveyors apply their own criteria, and you should confirm the position with your own lender.
EBR-01 publishes its findings and its reasons. Where an entry on the register is disputed, it can be challenged in writing and reviewed.

If any company or website presents itself as EBR-01, as an EBR-01 body, or as holding certification it does not hold, tell us. Include the web address and a screenshot where you can, and we will check it against our own records.
